YDGS visit to 13 Broom Acres

Our 1st garden visit of 2023 to "The Garden at 13 Broom Acres" was a tremendous success, even the weather was kind to us! Sunil Patel who hosted the visit, gave an interesting talk on the history and his design of the garden.

YDGS members then wandered freely around and afterwards enjoyed some scrumptious cakes baked by Sunil himself!

Everyone had a lovely afternoon and found something to take away with them; whether it was just planting ideas, enjoyable memories, the relaxing atmosphere or just some extra calories from the delicious cakes!

We are pleased to announce that £247.75 was raised from this event and will be passed on to the National Garden Scheme who will distribute it between their supported charities focusing on nursing and healthcare. Thanks Sunil.
