Despite difficult climatic conditions this year for gardeners, the YDGS Autumn Show surprisingly still had some excellent exhibits on show.
This year we had more exhibits than last year. There were numerous vegetable, flower and handicraft entries plus several cakes, jams and chutneys. It was encouraging to see an increased number of childrens entries too that were also excellent. The judges had a very challenging task to grade all the entries.
Not only did we have a record number of exhibits but also an increased number of visitors to come along in the afternoon to see the excellent exhibition but also for the prizegiving and raffle. An added bonus this year was that the now famous local celebrity CHESTER visited us for the day!
