GARLIC WATER FOR SLUG CONTROL - Courtesy of George Lockwood

GARLIC SPRAY

Use a 2 or 4 pint milk container that has been thoroughly cleaned.

Fill with cold water approximately  4 inches from the top.

If you are using a 4 pint container, place up to 25-30 cloves of garlic, they can be cooked, old or new cloves.

If you are using a 2 pint container, place 14-15 cloves, cooked, old or new.

When the containers have been filled as per the instructions above, place the container in a shady area for 2 weeks. After this pour the liquid into a spray container. Spray your plants on top of the leaves, under the leaves and on the stems.

The smell should only last for a maximum of 2 days. I spray my plants once a week.

If it rains you will have to spray again. The spray can be used on all plants as it's totally organic. I pay extra attention to plants that slugs and snails like. If you find that a plant still attracts slugs and snails then spray again.

This liquid is not totally effective, but you will find that it greatly reduces the damage done to plants by pests. **

**GEORGE SAYS NOT TO GIVE UP IF ONE MORNING YOU NOTICE SLUGS HAVE DONE THEIR EVIL DEEDS! JUST KEEP SPRAYING!! HE NORMALLY SPRAYS ONCE A WEEK.
