The weather was certainly kind to us on our visit to view the gardens at Tylney Hall. The glorious sunshine greatly enhanced the views of the gardens. Paul Tattersdill, the Estate Manager, was our guide for the afternoon and gave us a great insight into the history of the building and its gardens.
He told us of the many plans for restoring the gardens to their former glory following changes when Tylney was once used as a school.
Following the tour, we all enjoyed a most welcome cup of tea, cake and biscuits in a private dining room.
